ar.. today is 25th september 2004.. a day i'll remember always.. from today onward.. i'm no more "OCT Christina" but "Corp SO(6) Christina".. i'm a true blue officer from today onwards..stay up till abt 3+am last night to prepare all the souvenirs for my group members.. woke up abit late today.. and forget to msg kiah seng abt the change of the meeting time.. thus he waited for 2 hours.. oops.. sorry.. ok.. as usual.. i had to prepare 3 sets of outfits for today.. my SJAB full-u.. SJAb half-u.. and a set of home clothes.. suppose to be for disco night.. ok.. after preparing den went to meet jieying and fenmei for lunch also.. to pass jy some stuffs.. and then.. fenmei and i proceed off to fort canning to attend our Graduation Ceremony!! we had our POC (Pass Out Ceremony) at 'The Legends @ Fort Canning Park'.. it's a country club.. and i guess we're the main guests for today.. our presence really lighten up the atmosphere.. otherwise it's so quieT!! we gotta report at 2pm.. to do some preparation work as well as rehearsal on how we go up the stage and receive our certificates.. and where to stand during commissioning and stuffs like tat.. then gotta arrange in advance our position for photograph taking session also.. but in between.. really really lots of time wasted there doing nothing.. the Actual Ceremony started at about 7.15pm.. the arrival of guests.. den follow by speech by Chairman.. Chief Commissioner and Guest of Honours.. den presentation of awards to 'Friends of SJAB'.. committee members and instructors.. then it's our turn.. the Officer Cadet Trainee.. after which they announced the 6 Best and Outstanding Trainees from each division.. and yeah.. i wasnt one of them.. i had to admit that.. i didnt put on the beSt me thru out the entire course.. so of coz i wasnt one of them!! but anyway.. my groupmates was one of the recipent for the outstanding awards.. haiz.. after they announced the beST and outstanding trainnees.. we line ourselve around the ballroom and the 6 best and outstanding was commissioned on the stage.. whereas the rest was divided into 10 groups.. and commissioned by the 10 zone commissioners.. i was in the third group.. thus commissioned by the zone 3 zone comm.. i was still hoping to get commission by my own zone comm for you know.. i juz felt so blessed when my own zone staffs officer start walking in one by one into the ballroom to be seated as honourable guests.. becoz these are all the people that sees me grow up in sJ.. from a recruit to an officer today.. they are like my parents in SJab.. but too bad.. my names were a little too back on the list.. didnt manage to squeeze into the 2nd group.. and during the commissioning.. the zone comm wear the rank on us one by one.. total about 8-10 trainees per group.. den stupid committee.. played such a sad song.. it juz makes my mind wonder off to think about the past.. the day i joined sjab.. till i graduated from SEc sch.. life as an SNCOs.. the facts of attending officer course 1 year later then my fellow peers..but nevertheless.. this 1 year had not gone to waste.. for it makes me a better me in sj.. a more sensible me.. so many many things just came into my mind.. and shit.. i cried.. ok.. i cried.. so embarrassing.. i get so emotional.. and cry so easily recently.. oh no oh no.. gotta do something to it.. but tonight was indeed a enjoyable night... 25th September.. the day i got commissioned as a SJAB officer.. im no longer a sNCOs or officer-to-be.. or officer trainees.. i'm a full whole officer.. though i dun really like Officer Course.. but now to think about it.. i missed those days with my group mates.. and for goodness.. i cried twice in a night.. once during the commissioning parade.. and 2nd time.. while talking to the girls in my group.. after tat.. we juz hug each other.. oh.. so sweet.. i guess.. many peoples will not be able to experience what im feeling now.. but it's indeed a very true feeling.. and it always happen to me when i attend a course/camp.. whenever i get to meet and work with new pple..no doubt izzit NCOs course as trainees or instructors.. sec 3 camp.. camp bang.. camp eagles or officer course.. for that.. you really think and cant bear to let go.. those times that so many peoples from all over singapore coming together to work as a group.. tonight took quite alot of group pics.. we really let our hairs down to work..play.. and enjoy in unison.. and despite it's our graduation night.. we still repeatly sing those songs/cheers that we did during the course/camp.. and i guess... every single one of us.. even very badly wanna pass out as officers.. do also missed those time.. as these are all the peoples that accompany me thru the journey as a Officer Cadet.. the friendship of 6 months shall last a lifetime... i misS Tango.. Tango RuLez..
